Want to know more?
Our experts are just a click away and will be happy to tell you how IT-PS can help you.
Effective IT security requires the interplay of technology, processes, and people.
IT-PS designs, implements, and operates comprehensive IT security solutions for you that take into account infrastructure, applications, and the human factor. Our cyber security expertise ranges from consulting to cyber security solutions developed in-house by IT-PS.
For select security solutions, we also provide ongoing support and further development.
IT-PS Cyber Security Assessment
Identify risks. Provide clarity.
Many companies have already implemented key security measures—such as multi-factor authentication, firewalls, backups, logging, and centralized user management. The crucial question, however, is: Do these measures work together effectively when it really matters?
With our vendor-neutral IT-PS Cyber Security Assessment, we provide transparency into your current security posture. We start by working with you to define objectives and the exact scope. In structured workshops, we analyze the relevant areas of your IT landscape, processes, and operational workflows. Based on this, we conduct a gap analysis using the NIST CSF and ICT minimum standards.
As a result, you’ll receive your maturity assessment, which shows where your company stands and whether there are any gaps or risks. Based on this, we’ll develop a concrete action plan that’s evaluated according to impact and effort and prioritized by time frame. This allows you to see at a glance which “quick wins” can be addressed immediately and what we recommend for the medium and long term. In a follow-up meeting, we answer your questions and discuss possible solutions and implementation options.

Identity and Access Security
Identities and access rights are among the most critical aspects of any IT environment. Who has access to systems, data, and administrative functions must be clearly defined, traceable, and reliably secured.
We offer solutions for identity management, multi-factor authentication, and privileged access management (PAM). We take into account both modern IT environments and established IT landscapes, as well as platform-specific requirements. In this way, we create greater transparency and control over identities, permissions, and privileged access, and make access processes more traceable.
Our IT-PS 2-Factor-Lock (aaS) service offers a convenient way to add an extra layer of security to user access. We developed this solution ourselves, and it is provided entirely as a service—we handle operation and ongoing updates so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
We also support you in securing access for IBM i: We handle the implementation and integration of the mfa 4 IBM i solution available in the operating system.
IBM i Security
IBM i systems are a central component of business-critical IT processes in many companies. That is precisely why access, data exchange, and security-related functions must be reliably protected.
As IBM i experts, we offer solutions tailored to the unique characteristics of this platform. These include multi-factor authentication for IBM i as well as encryption solutions for secure data exchange.
Data Security
Data is one of a company’s most valuable resources. It must be protected regardless of platform, storage location, or system environment—especially where it is processed and used for business-critical applications.
We support companies with solutions for securing, monitoring, and encrypting critical data. Our focus is on technical solutions that reduce risks and can be integrated into existing IT and operational processes.
This gives you greater transparency into access to critical data, improves the protection of sensitive information, and creates a stronger foundation for technical security and operational processes.
SIEM & Security Monitoring
A SIEM solution only delivers its full value once relevant log sources are integrated, meaningful use cases are defined, and alerts are tailored to the specific environment.
We handle the design, implementation, and ongoing development of SIEM and security monitoring solutions. Our focus is not on generating as many alerts as possible, but rather on relevant information, clear priorities, and practical operational workflows. This enables security-related events to be detected, classified, and addressed more quickly and effectively.
Our focus is on manageable operational models—on-premises, within the customer’s existing environment, or in the IT-PS Cloud.
SOC Setup & Security Operations
A Security Operations Center (SOC) is more than just the sum of a few cybersecurity products and a collection of alerts. It is crucial that cybersecurity products, use cases, responsibilities, and response processes work together effectively.
When establishing and further developing SOC and security operations structures, we combine technical capabilities with practical workflows. To this end, we define relevant security use cases and clarify roles and responsibilities. Alerting, assessment, and escalation are tailored to the respective processes.
This enables security alerts to be assessed, prioritized, and acted on effectively when an incident occurs. It also provides a foundation for further improving your security operations.
Recovery as a Service
In an emergency, what matters is whether—and how quickly—the recovery process works.
Companies have backup and recovery plans in place for emergencies. However, only a restore test can determine whether the defined systems can actually be successfully restored and how long the recovery process takes.
With our Recovery as a Service, we work with the customer to test the existing recovery plan. The scope, test environment, and technical process are tailored to the specific IT landscape and the defined recovery scenario. If necessary, infrastructure can also be provisioned in the IT-PS Cloud for this purpose.
During the tests, we document the required steps and the time taken. We identify technical issues that prevent or hinder successful recovery and recommend appropriate solutions. This documentation also serves as a basis for future restore tests.
