IT-PS IBM i Event Monitor
When it comes to IT monitoring, IBM i is an exotic system. As such, it requires different monitoring than Windows or Linux systems. This is why we have developed our own software solution, the IT-PS IBM i Event Monitor, which addresses all the specifics of the platform.
The IT-PS IBM i Event Monitor monitors defined message queues – MSGs (QSYSOPR, QSYSMSG, application MSGQs) and checks whether all predefined jobs and subsystems are active. If this is not the case, the solution automatically raises an alarm and thus enables any anomalies to be rectified quickly.
